Ingredients

  • 2 baskets of mushrooms
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 filet mignon steaks, 5-6 steaks depending on taste and budget
  • 1 large piece of butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • egg noodles

Steps

Preparation:

  1. Slice the mushrooms thinly (a good amount of mushrooms, about one or two baskets, depending on the amount of meat).
  2. Slice the onion thinly.
  3. Slice the meat thinly (2 filet mignon steaks, 5-6 steaks depending on taste and budget).
  4. Prepare a decent-sized cube of butter (don't hesitate, it's good with butter).
  5. Prepare sour cream.
  6. Prepare about 1 cup of beef broth.
  7. Prepare about 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Prepare 2 tablespoons flour.
  9. Prepare 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard.

Cooking:

  1. Season the beef.
  2. Sear it in a hot pan.
  3. Reserve the beef.
  4. In the same pan, add the butter.
  5. Add the onions and sweat them.
  6. Add the mushrooms and brown them.
  7. Add 2 tablespoons of flour.
  8. Add the beef stock.
  9. Cook for 10 minutes.
  10. Once the cooking is done:
  11. Add 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
  12. Add 1 large tablespoon of Dijon mustard.
  13. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream.
  14. Add the beef.
  15. Mix well to reheat the beef and incorporate everything.
